Papa Mamadou N'Doye is an artisan engraver specializing in woodcut. He studied carpentry with Aïssa Dione. Passionate over the years for the art of wood engraving, he specializes in the oldest technique, that of xylogravure which allows the wood to be impregnated with writing patterns and drawings.
