The House of Artisans’ participation in the Révélations — International Biennial of Crafts is the first of its kind from the region. Representing the United Arab Emirates, the House of Artisans linked to the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, is a pillar of the UAE cultural landscape, preserving the heritage of the UAE handicrafts. The House of Artisans invites the audience to explore the United Arab Emirates’ cultural heritage through the eyes of seven Emirati artists who re-interpret the UAE’s connection to nature and redefine the relationship between the artist and the artisan.
